Hi, I’m GRASS TSO.
I’m a wedding photographer and filmmaker with over 15 years of experience, now based in Vancouver.
My approach is simple — I focus on real moments, genuine emotions, and the quiet details that make your wedding day truly yours. I don’t ask you to perform or pose unnaturally. Instead, I give you space to be present, so your photos and films reflect who you are, not a version created for the camera.
Having documented weddings across different cultures and cities, I understand how meaningful family, connection, and atmosphere are — especially on a day that only happens once.
For me, photography and film are not about perfection.
They’re about memory, feeling, and honesty.
Our Philosophy
Whether through a still photograph or moving image, our purpose is to preserve moments that feel real.
We believe the most powerful images come from trust — when couples feel comfortable enough to be themselves. That’s when genuine laughter, quiet tears, and fleeting glances naturally unfold.
Our role is never to control the day, but to observe it with care and sensitivity. We guide gently when needed, and step back when moments happen on their own — allowing your story to unfold naturally.
COMMUNICATION & EXPERIENCE
We believe great photographs begin with trust/ understanding.
From our first conversation to the wedding day itself, we take time to listen you. Our role is to support you, so you can stay present and enjoy every part of it.
Clear, thoughtful communication is part of our process. Our goal is to support you professionally. You always know what to expect, without feeling overwhelmed. You can stay present and truly enjoy every part of your day.
PHOTOGRAPHY & FILM
Photography allows you to return to a single moment — a look, a touch, a breath — frozen in time.
Film brings those moments back to life, weaving movement, sound, and rhythm into a story that lets you relive not just how it looked, but how it felt to be there.
Together, they create a complete memory of your wedding day.
EXPERIENCE & RECOGNITION
Over the years, our work has been recognized internationally, including multiple awards from the WPPI International Photography Competition.
These recognitions reflect our long-term dedication to storytelling, consistency, and craft — but what matters most to us is creating work that feels meaningful to the couples we document.
We are experienced working with families from different cultural backgrounds and value clear, respectful communication throughout the process.
